How it works
Three phases. One track. One crown.
From building your crew to the Grand Finale on October 3, 2026 — here's exactly what it takes to run Nairobi.
01
Phase 1 · The Call Out
Build your crew
Who really runs Nairobi? Let’s settle it on the tracks.
- Assemble a crew of 4 (2 ladies & 2 gents) — mix it up: speed, strategy, pure vibes.
- Only 15 crews per campus get a spot on the track.
- Build your crew, plot your strategy, and find your lane before slots fill up.

Phase 2 · Campus Knockouts
Bring the vibe to the track
A relay showdown with a twist. Speed matters, but so does energy.
- Show up, show out, and bring the sauce — wild crew names, custom fits, sass and unmatched personality win surprise gifts.
- Relay-style track knockouts. Top 3 crews per campus lock in their ticket to the Grand Finale.
- Knockouts run between 10th–25th September. Your exact campus date will be communicated.
- Knockouts venue: participating campus grounds.
- Top 3 crews per campus advance to the finals.

Phase 3 · The Grand Finale
Head-to-head for the crown
The top crews go head-to-head for the ultimate crown, plus a trip to South Africa for a once-in-a-lifetime race weekend experience.
- Finals venue: Nyayo National Stadium.

The Grand Finale
October 3, 2026 — the ultimate crown is on the line.
But that’s not all — the on-track action comes packed with an electric off-track festival experience running all day. Street food, glam stations, tattoo artists, and an all-day music lineup keeping the grandstands loud for every campus.
